              Hi! Today this sunny morning, I've been assigned the task of creating a document in SAP. For that, first, we'll just see the short note about, What is SAP & how this platform is being used? Then I'll give you an entire procedure to create the document. Let's go.  

INTRODUCTION

         SAP - Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing.
It is a software which helps in managing the tasks and helps to follow the records. This platform is used in many types of industries like IT, manufacturing industries, etc.,
    In SAP there is no need to know coding?
        Yes, in SAP there are some module which doesn't need coding to perform those modules.

How to create a document in SAP

Step 1: Log in to SAP

    ⇛ In this step, in user - enter user ID, Password - enter the password and at last select your language.

Step 2: Transaction code


    ⇛In this step, there are plenty of transaction codes available in SAP. Based on the type of use, you can enter the code. 
              Eg: Personnel file - PA10
                    Employee list - PAR2
                    Job reporting - PSOC

Step 3: Personnel action


    ⇛Enter the date and click action type 
    ⇛Then click hire as shown in the picture and then execute it using an icon on the top with the arrow pointing towards it.

Step 4: Personnel number
    ⇛From the above picture, in the personnel number, fill the number. To set personnel numbers, it has some conditions like 
  • It should be entirely numeric.
  • It must contain eight digits.
Step 5: Fill in the Details



    ⇛From the above table, we can see that just fill in the details of the column shown in the table.

Step 6: Review and Save 



    ⇛Review the details that have been filled in and then click save as shown in the table. 
Step 7: Confirm the action


    ⇛After reviewing the page, confirm the action in this step, as we see it appears like a model for the next step.

Drawbacks of SAP

  1. Complexity - As we see, it is a more complicated process to create a document in it.
  2.  Expensive - The software for SAP is very expensive compared to other software in the market.
  3. Not very flexible - Sometimes a vendor package does not fit the complete requirements of clients.
  4. Risk of project - This SAP offers only 16 pages limitation.

Other Platforms 

  • Google - It is a famous platform as everyone has used this platform. It is an American multinational technology. It performs in various fields like mapping, documentation, payment, e-books, Play Store, news, podcasts, learning platforms, supports other AI tools.
  • Microsoft - This is also a famous platform that every one of us has known about this. It was developed by Bill Gates. Its software is Windows OS. It's best mostly on personal computers. It offers various operations like Excel to tabulate and format the data, word for documentation, one note, and so on. 
  • Salesforce - It is an American-developed platform with headquarters in San Francisco. It offers the so-called CRM  which can be performed without coding. It has software for sales and offers various sales-related platform which helps mainly in the sales department. It uses PAAS (Platform As A Service) which allows adding applications.
